Desperately seeking water at Death Valley River Bed

No, we were ok. Just borrowing a film title from the 80s. Very unique water puddle shapes are left behind – made of salt crystals.  They are fragile but in another sense, the separation walls are somewhat tough – they don’t crumble at a touch. Visiting Death Valley in Feb and March is ideal – the heat is mild or hardly there.  Be sure to carry a jacket at sunrise and sunset – the desert is quite unforgiving.
