In Honor of Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris

I was blessed to have visited Notre Dame in Paris in March, about 3 weeks before the fire. Rushing there in my Uber after end of work day, I caught the sunset blue hour for the outside photography as it does close at 6 pm. This week I will share those images with you. It certainly was a special event by itself, and it’s so sad to see the considerable destruction from the fire today. Viva France !

The shocking tragedy has all of us bringing up our photo memories, and I am of course, human also. Taken just 3 weeks ago, it was a very sublime evening, especially now. Clear weather, low crowds (week night) and low season. Many famous scenes have been filmed on that harbor side with the Notre Dame in the background, most recently my favorite show Mrs. Maisel. It may be many years before we can see a restored Notre Dame – at least these memories will carry us for some time.
