I advise visitors to go slow in Wine Country (both mentally and driving wise). Spend at least 1 night. Wine Country is actually a handful of small towns anchored by Napa and Sonoma. BTW wineries close at 5 or 6 pm. These are actual working wineries with small or large front building for visitors.
